Conversations you test
Text you paste into the tester is used only to produce your score and is not stored by us. While our experimental AI¹ judge is switched on, that text is sent to OpenAI² for scoring (OpenAI handles it under its API³ terms); if you haven’t unlocked the AI judge, or it is off, unavailable or at its limit, the text is scored by our own preview engine and never leaves our host, Netlify. We keep only anonymous counts of AI judge calls, never the text. Don’t paste personal information (names, contact details) into the tester.
AI judge access and caching
The preview engine is available to everyone. The experimental AI judge unlocks when you join the waitlist (2 tests a day). Your waitlist email is used for the waitlist and for this allowance. For the allowance we store only a salted hash of your email (a scrambled code that can’t be turned back into the address) with a daily count, and your browser gets a signed cookie (tf_judge, 90 days) that holds that hash, not your email. There’s no email verification yet. To avoid paying twice for the same chat, we store a hashed fingerprint of the chat (SHA-256⁴) with its five scores for 30 days; if the same chat is tested again, the stored scores are shown without a new AI call. Neither the chat nor the email is stored as text for the AI judge. To stop bots using up the AI tests, the waitlist and the tester also use a hidden form field that people never see (a honeypot) and a minimum time before submitting; these checks store nothing about you. Hard daily and total limits on AI judge calls also apply. If we switch on a bot check from an outside provider (Cloudflare Turnstile), we will name it here before it goes live. (Your name and email in the waitlist itself are kept by our form provider, Netlify, as described above.)
